Hunt and Harvest at The Mercantile

We came for drinks on a Friday night and sat at the bar. We had an excellent experience! Marco was bartending and he not only made us amazing drinks, but also gave us a show with his awesome presentation!

Nice spot to grab a meal and a drink. I ordered the chicken tortilla salad and it was delicious. They were understaffed that day and there was a wait time. However, our server worked hard to get to everyone’s table. Excellent service.

I am not sure why there are so many terrible reviews. My husband and I ate here and had an amazing experience. I am so glad I ignored the reviews and tried this place. We ordered the calamari, Turkey burger, bison burger, and truffle fries. I couldn't stop eating it was so good. I highly recommend the calamari. I almost pushed my husband off the chair so I could have it all to myself lol. The bartender was incredible, he made the best drinks I've had in Ruidoso and the best mojito I've had in a long time. The service was attentive but not overly attentive. Our glasses never ran dry and they made sure we were taken care of. If you're in town, I highly suggest trying this place out, you can't go wrong!
